H2Otel Water Saving Award in Azerbaijan
On December 4, 2019, the UNDP-GEF Kura II Project issued the first H2Otel Water Saving Award in Azerbaijan at the General Assembly Meeting of the Azerbaijan Hotel Association.
The H2Otel Water Saving Awards celebrate hotels in Azerbaijan and Georgia for undertaking innovative measure to reduce water use and water pollution in the hospitality industry. Hotels in Azerbaijan and Georgia which participate in three short trainings, monitor their water use with the Hotel Water Measurement Initiative tool, and develop innovative plans for water conservation at their properties are eligible to win the H2Otel Water Saving Award.
The winner of the first H2O Hotel Water Savings Awards was Pullman Hotel Baku in Azerbaijan. Awards will be held again next year.
