Women and Water training in Saatli
On October 16th the Training on Water and Women was held in Saatly by UNDP-GEF Kura II Project team in cooperation with the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
There were 27 participants in the training. The main discussion topics were about water, SDGs, the role of water in women's lives, as well as early marriages and its impacts on the lives of girl children. The training was then followed with a small group work. In this meeting as well, the participants discussed their major concerns about the freshwater access and how they see the solutions to their problems.
