On December 6, 2019, the UNDP-GEF Kura II Project issued the first H2Otel Water Saving Award in Georgia at the Welcome to Georgia • ტურიზმის ეროვნული დაჯილდოება National Tourism Awards Gala, held at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace. The winner in H2OTEL Water Saving Award this year was Hostel WhyMe? 
The H2Otel Water Saving Awards celebrate hotels in Azerbaijan and Georgia for undertaking innovative measure to reduce water use and water pollution in the hospitality industry.
