The main objective of this working group is to develop a conjunctive groundwater and surface water use strategy for transboundary water resources in the Kura river Basin. The members are from Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Amelioration and Water Economy JSC, Azersu and Baku State University in Azerbaijan and Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, National Environmental Agency, United Irrigations Systems Company in Georgia. As a result of the discussion they have agreed on the table of contents of the reports to be produced by this RWG and task division. The meeting has also served as a ground of sharing the recent updated in the water resource management in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
