Both sides have presented their report on surface and groundwater resources in Azerbaijan and Georgia in accordance to what has been instructed by the International Expert. According those instructions, the countries were also required to present gaps on water resources between in both Azerbaijan and Georgia. The aim of this meeting was to understand where the working groups are and how they can improve their national reports which will be part of the regional report on the Kura River basin.

After the presentations, the Senior Capacity Building Expert has updated the Regional Working Group with the overall project updates and the recent progress achieved in the other working groups. Initially, it was planned that this regional working group will also have totally four meetings, however, thanks to the extension granted by the 2019 Steering Committee Meeting, it is possible to have the fifth meeting as well, considering the high importance of this cooperation.
