The main objective of this meeting was to share the results of the analysis on five agreed  water quality indicators for harmonized water quality analysis water resources in the Kura river Basin. The members are from the Monitoring Department of Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources from Azerbaijan and National Environmental Agency from Georgia have presented their cooperation on water quality that was established thanks to the Kura II Project. At then end of the presentations it was agreed that as of the next field trip, each country representative will join the other country delegation in sampling and conducting water quality analysis. Initially, it was planned that this regional working groups will meet four times totally, however, due to the extension granted by the 2019 Steering Committee Meeting, it is possible to have the fifth meeting as well, considering the high importance of this cooperation.
