The Kura River

Kura is a river with 1515 km length taking its source from heigh in eastern part of Turkey and flowing to Caspian Sea crossing through Georgia and Azerbaijan  

The Kura River Basin is the main transboundary water system in the geopolitically challenging region of the South Caucasus. Together Azerbaijan and Georgia cover 94,760 square km and represent 88% of the Kura Basin.
